How did you hear about The Posh Club? Via this lovely web site.
What made you decide to join The Posh Club? I recently moved to Aberdeen and figured it would be a good way to meet people.
Who is your favourite author? There are very few books I don’t like reading but I never tire of Steinbeck or Solzhenisen. Amongst more contemporary writers Mary Doria Russell, Cormac McCarthy’s early stuff and Chuck Palahnuik; basically anyone that challenges my preconceptions and makes me think! I try to mix it up with some non-fiction from time to time too.
What has been your favourite read of the last twelve months? Ivan Nobels autobiography “Like A Hole In The Head”.
What do you feel you get out of ’The Posh Club? As well as the friendly folks I get to meet I feel it’s a good way of forcing myself to read books I wouldn’t necessarily pick up on my own.
Would you recommend The Posh Club to your friends/work colleagues? Yes! Even to random people on a bus!
